The grounds that Good Games Writing operates on spans the continent once known as Turtle Island. We acknowledge these lands as an act of reconciliation and education. We occupy ancestral territory of several tribal nations, including the Kaw Osage, and Shawnee peoples, to the South, while to the North we acknowledge the Treaty 6 and Treaty 7 territory of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, as well as the Métis. These Indigenous peoples engaged in many games and their humour and sense of fun is a source of inspiration now and always.
